Client Overview

SCO, operating under the Tokoparts brand, set out to become Indonesia’s go-to digital platform for spare parts procurement. Their goal: create a one-stop B2B marketplace for both genuine and aftermarket automotive parts — covering all brands, accessible nationwide.

The Mission

LOGIQUE was selected to design and develop a completely new system from the ground up. This wasn’t just a website — Tokoparts needed a robust, scalable, and highly integrated e-commerce system that could:

  • Handle millions of SKUs
  • Serve both buyers and suppliers
  • Automate logistics and fulfillment
  • Integrate with internal tools like SAP and WMS

Current status

LOGIQUE remains Tokoparts’ core development and consulting partner

Agile Team Composition

LOGIQUE formed a flexible team structure based on Tokoparts' evolving needs, with the squad size ranging between 4 to 16 members, covering:

Agile Team Composition

This structure allowed quick adaptation to dynamic product requirements and ongoing rollouts.

Collaboration Model

The project followed an agile and consultative approach, with regular communication loops:

Standup Meeting

Stand-ups every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with the product team

Rapat Strategis

Monthly strategic reviews with the CEO (as needed)

Rapat Strategis

Continuous collaboration with multiple product owners representing different business areas

Key Third-Party Integrations

To meet enterprise-level operational needs, the system was integrated with a wide set of services:

Midtrans
Payment processing (credit card and Virtual Account)
Shipper
Logistic & delivery provider
SAP (FAS)
Financial and accounting system
Anchanto
Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Dipo
Supplier system for real-time stock updates
Google Distance Matrix
Shipping logic based on warehouse distance
Google Sheet API
Dynamic internal reporting
Mixpanel
Web user behavior analytics
ADA

Managing Requirements & Change

There was no fixed format for how requirements were submitted — sometimes detailed, sometimes high-level. LOGIQUE’s role as consultant was crucial in filling gaps, confirming technical feasibility, and making trade-off recommendations.

Prioritization was done collaboratively, especially since multiple product owners were involved. Scope changes were handled gracefully — if budgets were limited, some items were reprioritized and moved to future sprints.

Managing Requirements & Change

Key Challenges We Tackled

node js
1

System Performance & Data Scale

The system needed to support a massive product catalog, tiered pricing, consignment models, promotions, and complex filtering — without sacrificing performance.

2

Integration Complexity

Syncing with SAP, warehouse systems, and supplier platforms required deep technical alignment to ensure real-time accuracy.

3

Evolving Business Focus

Tokoparts initially aimed to cover both B2B and B2C. Over time, they pivoted to focus solely on B2B — a shift we supported without disruption.

Server Issues

As the system scaled, occasional infrastructure issues emerged. These were actively monitored and mitigated to prevent customer-facing impact.

Business Impact

Outcomes & Business Impact

Over the course of the partnership, Tokoparts achieved significant operational gains:

Business Enablement

  • Launched a national-scale B2B e-commerce system tailored to Indonesia’s auto parts market
  • Enabled the Tokoparts team to focus on growing their buyer and supplier network, instead of managing IT complexity

Operational Efficiency

  • Real-time stock visibility, automated reporting, and warehouse-routing logic led to faster fulfillment and fewer manual errors

Scalable Growth

  • The system now supports operations across multiple cities and provinces — without performance issues or needing a system overhaul

Rapid Feature Delivery

  • The sprint-based process allows Tokoparts to roll out updates every 2 weeks, ensuring continuous product evolution

Key Success Indicator

Sustained trust. Since 2020, Tokoparts has retained LOGIQUE not just as a vendor, but as a long-term, hands-on partner — from MVP to enterprise-grade operations. That level of commitment speaks to both technical execution and relationship reliability.
