To build their mobile e-commerce application, We leveraged five leading technologies: Flutter, NOBU Bank API, Google Maps API,and OTP (One Time Password) services.

First, Ajinomoto selected Flutter because they needed a cross-platform framework capable of delivering consistent user interface and performance across various devices. This was essential since thousands of users with different smartphones would access the OMO application.

Second, to provide secure and convenient payment options, we integrated with NOBU Bank’s API to implement QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) payments. This enables customers to complete transactions seamlessly using any QRIS-compatible payment app.

For enhanced security and user verification, we implemented an OTP (One-Time Password) system through WhatsApp or SMS. This provides reliable user authentication while offering flexibility – if one channel fails, users can still receive their OTP through the alternative method.

Finally, to create location-personalized shopping experiences, We integrated Google Maps API. This allows the OMO application to accurately detect user locations and recommend nearby available Ajinomoto products.

All these technologies operate within a scalable cloud infrastructure. Therefore, the application maintains responsiveness even when thousands of users access it simultaneously.
